Main Functions

Transparent encrypt/decrypt:
BitSec Secure Folder works as windows normal file system, furthermore encrypt/decrypt data in the memory, it will absolutely not producing any temporary files containing the raw file content.

Control Access to folders:
When a protected folder is locked, any access to it will be denied, and is effective under windows safe mode and all user groups. Under the Locked condition, the protected folder cannot be read, written and deleted.
Folder Hide: BitSec Secure Folder’s most important component is running in windows kernel, so this kind of hiding is effective on all user groups and even in windows safe mode.

Safe Logon Mechanism:
When user logons BitSec secure folder, only the password and the corresponding account file are correct, the correct file content can be accessed. The Account File is generated by BitSec Secure Folder when User uses it at the first time. That is to say on the user’s machine for get a correct file content, there be must correct password and the corresponding account file.

Stealth Mode:
This is a special function of BitSec Secure Folder. When running in Stealth Mode, the shortcut of BitSec Secure Folder and its setup folder will be invisible. Only the user knows if BitSec Secure Folder is installed on his machine. So other will not think there are some folders protected by BitSec Secure Folder.

Automatically logoff:

This feature is like a screen saver with a password on windows as help us prevent leakage data in a careful less case. When the user leaves the computer, BitSec security folder will be automatically canceled after the specified period of time, to prevent others from accessing secure folder in the unauthorized case.

Self-Protect:
Like anti-virus software, the ability to self-protection is also very important for software to protect important data. We certainly do not want to see others get important data by removing the software component.
